Update stairelevator.

Postby Sylvana » Sat Mar 24, 2018 11:49 am

Hello everyone,
I have my new stairelevator, but I'm sad, it's not the one for me.
They gave me a standard, that means suitable for every person.
The chair is to high, they tried to make it lower, but only 3 cm instead of 7cm I need, my old one had the perfect measures.
Also my footrest is not good, a huge one, can't put my feet on it.
My dad called the firm and they admit they made a mistake, but for the chair is no solution, they can't deliver the chair I need. the footrest may be as my old one. Their solution is, a second handchair, I must wait till some need no elevator anymore and then the will see if that chair fits, can take months.
I can use the elevator, but with help dad, the elevator when he comes at the hallway upstairs there is a huge distance between the elevator and the stair.
I can slip with my feet and come between the elevator and stair, very dangerous. If we don't agree, with a second hand chair from someone else the will remove him. The answer was search for another firm, I'm so sad, desperate and tired. We found another firm, and called yesterday Friday, the woman of the firm was so kind and this afternoon a advisor will come to help us. I hope there is a solution, we keep in touch.
Many thanks for reading and listning.

that is so frustrating. Did they not check first before installing it to make sure it fitted? Hope the second firm will have a better solution for you. I don't see why you have to wait for a secondhand one. That first firm should make sure they find the correct one that fits properly.

Yes Delene, the measure it before, I knew that man and he did it very well, no problem. But I have very great news, we found another firm, and now I get a ELECTRIC STAIRELEVATOR, with this one I can save my body and energy.
I'm so very happy, I can sream it from the rooftop.
Thanks for your interest.

I forgot to say if the other firm can make the stairelevator lower, but we must wait till we get a mail, but the advisor said don't worry, so I trust him.

The stairelevator is abstinent.
We must wait till Tuesday when the firm calls if they have solution, but they don't have it, so we will cancel it, and then they will remove the stairelevator.
Then we must call the other firm, and wait ill the drawing is oké, they already measure it. I post a update oké.

That's just too bad that they not happy. If they can't provide you with a proper stair lift that you are happy with then its only right that you look for a different provider who can provide you with the correct one.

You are right Delene, had a very good conversation with the contact person.
She calls every client, after the advisor has visit us.
If the conversation with the advisor was good or bad, complains and further.
She gave me also some tips that I can use for the firm who install the wrong lift.
The lift I get now if he other is removed, is very good and I don't have to worry about. The service man are very kind and do everything for the client.
Can't wait to have the other one, I try then to post a picure, but Tinypic is not working, photobucket you must be a member, I will search for another page.

Look what happens next week, we got a phonecall and they try to take a old chair, we don't exept it, there are more problems.
I called with the advisor from the firm we have now and her advise don't pay notting, for removing the stairlift the install. We keep our legs straight. :)
