Christmas sal: May

Postby Danielle 31 » Wed May 02, 2018 12:17 am

Hope it's ok for me to post first. Normally do the cal sal first but swapped, only stitched on this one today, quite addictive this one love the beads and the button. Thanks for looking all xxx :)

Love your card, so unusual and looks so effective against the red and white spotted background Grace

Thank you Bron I just worked on this one exclusively, and am now doing the cal sal one exclusively, nearly finished then can turn into the cushion.

Thank you Grace, it was a free kit with crossstitcher last Xmas, think they are doing a similar sort of kit for next month but a summery one. First time I've ever frayed the edges really like it.

Thank you both for your lovely comments can't wait to see yours xxx :)

Didn't post a card last month - it should have been this one but hadn't quite finished stitching it till I was away last weekend. Sat down this afternoon to make it up, now I'm playing catch up to get another done this month.

That looks just great Sue - I love the design and so will the eventual recipient.
Here is my card for this month - a bit sparse on the stitching side I'm afraid- Grace

Thank you - I love to see my Christmas card box filling up with what seems like so little effort - I think as you get older the pressure of Christmas deadlines increases, so thanks to these SALs a great deal of the pressure is taken away. Grace

That is why stitching is so popular you can take a small piece away if you are having a week-end or holiday away and it takes up so little room, yet let's you enjoy your hobby wherever you are Grace
